Who Is Allowed To Journal?
Journaling is for Everyone. One of the biggest things that holds people back is the “all-or-nothing” mindset. This mindset is limiting and damaging— it makes us think our journals have to be pleasing or aesthetically perfect, instead of simply being truthful to our thoughts.
In the video below by @anniee, she talks about how journaling can be whatever you need it to be. It doesn’t have to look a certain way. In addition, journaling can be a replacement for mindless doomscrolling— a small moment in your day to check in with yourself and be real. No filters, no pressure. Just you.

As @anniee says, the key is finding a journaling style that feels right for you. You don’t need a fancy notebook or expensive supplies. Start with what you have. A few months ago, I made my journal out of poster paper and some loose sheets I had lying around. I kept the design simple and included things I love on the cover—like a little drawing of my cat, Suzi.
